Summary of Objective:

The Programmer Analyst provides programming, development, maintenance and support to various system applications, databases and solutions, with a primary focus on the global ERP JDE (J.D. Edwards) Enterprise One system. This position is also responsible for various business systems and application globally and throughout the enterprise as required by PCI Pharma Services. The programmer Analyst role is also expected to perform testing, document changes to processes and programs, and brainstorm complex business solutions and technical recommendations to IT Management and Business Managers. Excellent database skills are required to keep software applications performing at top efficiency with a priority on data integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

1. Write / Modify / Maintain JDE (J.D. Edwards) Enterprise One 9.2 applications, programs, UBE's, business functions, reports, inquires, views, processing options and databases utilizing the OMW (Object Management Workbench) programming toolset.

2. Maintain other integrated applications and solutions as required.

3. Fix / Repair software bugs within custom JDE modules and other business systems as required.

4. Develop custom integrations between JDE and other systems as required.

5. Troubleshoot technical issues and challenges as they arise throughout the enterprise systems. 6. Work with customers, contractors and vendors on data extracts, B2B, EDI and transformation of data.

6. Test and document all code changes.

7. Develop / Maintain custom reports and forms with the following tools, but not limited to Hubble Insights, BI Publisher and Create Form.

8. Perform data extracts, exports and imports as needed.

9. Perform SQL data inquires and changes with data integrity best practices and procedures.

10. Follow QA Change Management and SDLC procedures and documentation guidelines.

11. Provide training and End-User support.

12. Provide technical assistance where needed across the IT Department.

13. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

14. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.

15. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.

16. Performs other duties as assigned by Director / Manager / Supervisor.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
