Summary of Objective:

The purpose of this position is to grow profitable sales with existing customers and develop business with prospective new customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Researches customer potential. Develops strategies for business development. Acts as a liaison between the company and the customer's organization and manages the development of other communication channels. Stays abreast of industry and customer business, regulatory, and technology trends. Initiates project development and facilitates quoting activity. Nurtures the customer relationship and insures that customer needs are met. Expands profitable sales revenues. Makes regular sales calls to customer sites. Actively participates in customer Business Review Meetings Participates in contract negotiations. This position may require travel by airplane and/or car up to 75% of the year This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Actively schedules and coordinates new customer visits to sites Actively cross sells capabilities across business segments Maintain opportunities and leads in SalesForce.com Evaluates and creates value proposition to customers Participate and help develop business strategy
