What you'll do:

SUMMARY:
The Logistics Customer Support Representative position is responsible for communicating with customers, shippers, plant operations, and sales team members on status of production units, pickup availability, scheduling outside processing, and staging units for production


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to inquiries (phone, e-mail,
* Update records of location and status of production units in ERP and other data entry tables
* Coordinate shipments of finished goods by compiling all necessary and regulatory documentation/accessories
* Follow-up on customer orders still pending pickup
* Maintain plant shipping schedule for finished goods
* Provide support and guidance to shipping department personnel
* Forecast availability of raw chassis required for production; investigate and escalate as necessary

What you need to be successful:


* HS Diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
* Capability to develop knowledge of the operation processes
* Ability to interact positively written and verbal with customers, fleet managers, and the owners of these units
* Capability to develop knowledge of company's products; Walk-in Van, Truck Body, Trademaster, Reach, Upfit
* Excellent verbal / written communications
* Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Aurora
* Ability to interpret build orders, BOMs, and assembly prints
* Ability to problem solve
* Ability to work in a team environment and work independently
* Excellent attendance
* Customer Service / Customer Relations oriented
* Selling skills
* Detail / accuracy oriented
* Tactfulness
* Ability to negotiate with the customer
* Empathetic to customer issues when required
* Being able to handle a high stress environment
* Capable of high-volume call processing
