State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Benner Township is a newer addition to DOC that is designated as a mental health stability facility. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager for DOC, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the psychological services program for SCI Benner Township. In this position, you will develop and write new policies and procedures for existing programs, consult with psychiatry and medical staff, and perform psychological testing and evaluation of inmates. Additionally, you will participate as a standing member of the clinical review team for suicides and attempted suicides and serve as a chairperson for the population psychiatric review team. You can also expect to supervise the subordinate psychological staff in the psychiatric screenings of inmates and the care the staff provides to the inmates.
