Compensation $20.00 to $23.60 per hour depending on 2+ years of electro-mechanical experience.
*This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.
Carestream has an opening for an Electro-Mechanical Technician/Assembler 100% Onsite at its 1049 Ridge Road manufacturing plant in Rochester, NY. If you are experienced at building, configuring, installing, have a strong computer background with software/firmware and especially can accurately follow SOP/Standard Work instructions and procedures, then this may be a great opportunity to you at Carestream. Build, configure, upgrade all DR/CR Service equipment and devices, manufacturing build area and test equipment needed.
Install and configure the software/ firmware.
Build, configure, upgrade computers, Access Points, Tablets, Routers
This is both a Service and Manufacturing position.
Some soldering skills needed.
Complete all orders on time.
Manage inventory and work area.
Reliable and complies with all company / departmental policies & regulations.
Individual follows written "standard work" processes.
* HS Diploma or GED AND 2+ years of experience
1. Electrical and Mechanical Skills
2. Experience installing and configuring software/firmware.
* Excellent decision-making and problem solving
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
* Planning/Organizing/Trouble Shooting Problems
* 2+ years equivalent technical experience and/or military technical training.
* Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, problem solving and soldering skills.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong technical writing skills
