Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, you are an integral part of the TDECU Recruiting team, providing an exemplary experience to internal business partners, candidates, and vendor partners. The Recruiting Coordinator performs operational, onboarding, and compliance-related tasks supporting the organization's recruiting functions, including direct hire, temp to perm, and university recruiting within the Recruiting Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides prompt responses to internal customer requests and guides internal customers to the appropriate People Services team member. Knowledgeable regarding Talent Acquisition services and processes. Prioritizes workload to meet the needs of the Recruiters, Candidates, and Hiring Managers.
  • Completes Forms I-9 and verifies I-9 documentation for new hires.
  • Partners with the HRIS team on ATS (Workday) business process updates. Participates in user testing and provides feedback. Serves as Workday expert for the Recruiting team.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview processes. Tracks candidates' status in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Supports the Recruiting team by scheduling interviews, booking travel arrangements, and managing expense reimbursement. Maintains calendars and schedules of interviews, meetings, and events both internally and externally. Assists with onsite interviews.
  • Prepares offer letters via HRIS platform, monitors background process, and communicates with hiring manager to ensure seamless onboarding for new hire orientation.
  • Maintains tracking and position updates on the Talent Acquisition report. Produces reports as requested.
  • Completes monthly reconciliation of corporate cards and manages approval process.
  • Manages, maintains relationships, and supports external agency vendors as needed. Follows up on requests for temporary coverage and agency support. Submits temporary reports to the Operations team monthly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least two years of related experience is required. Experience with Workday is highly preferred. Experience with social media marketing preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to stand, walk, and sit. An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds to perform essential position functions.
  • Specific vision abilities this position requires include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Our company offers a dynamic hybrid work arrangement, which requires three days on-site, in the Sugar Land, TX office. Occasional travel to offsite career events based on business needs.
