The position involves repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment, including cars, trucks, tractors, sweepers, and front-end loaders. Maintenance tasks will cover shock absorbers, transmissions, clutches, brakes, wheel balancing, alignment checks, minor body repairs, and testing alternators and electrical components. Responsibilities also include conducting preventative maintenance programs on vehicles, equipment, and parts, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing tune-ups, changing tires, conducting state inspections for safety and emissions, filling out inspection stickers, and completing necessary paperwork.
