Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Rehab Operations Manager to join their Episodic Care Team. Preferred location is Louisville, KY, but we are willing to consider other locations within the state or Southern IN.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the execution of practice operations for Baptist Health Medical Group Physical Therapy practices. The Operations Manager is responsible for effective management of the Supervisor and their Centralized PT Referral and Authorization office, which encompasses the Front desk work flow and the Front Office Coordinators at all the clinic sites.

The Operations Manager shall also serve as the PT team leader for our EPIC super User task force and the first line point of contact for all EPIC functions including updates and optimization, internal training and policies for clinical practice documentation and administrative practice management aspects of EPIC systems unitization in BHMG Physical Therapy.

Working jointly with the Director of Physical Therapy, the Operations Manager has shared responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic locations as assigned. This would include financial performance, productivity, and overall PT operations within statewide services. Position often requires daily interaction with employed providers, site management and staff. Some travel is necessary in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in the development and operation of the BHMG Physical Therapy program at all PT sites and responsible for providing clinical physical therapy services to Baptist Health PT patients. This also includes: Strong working knowledge of all modalities and treatment protocols and completing documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assumes all administrative and supervisory duties in the absence of the Director
  • Assist with execution and oversight of all aspects of assigned physical therapy operations.
  • Works with leadership and Finance to create annual budgets and manages practice budgets.
  • Responsible for coordination of frontend and backend revenue cycle processes.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates program effectiveness, efficiency and quality of service.
  • Works directly with Epic Support to maintain efficient EMR, optimize when appropriate, and communicates all changes to PT staff.
  • Manages and Supports the Referral Office daily operations, strategic initiatives, and objective reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of BS or other relevant degree in Physical Therapy, i.e.MS, and/or DPT and current valid KY State Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in KY.
  • 5+ years management experience in physical therapy practice operations
  • Practice management software and EMR experience and competency preferred
