The Director of the Upper Bucks Campus is responsible for administering all aspects of the UBC by providing leadership to ensure excellence in academic, physical, technological, student and faculty support services that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity in and out of the classroom. More specifically, the Director collaborates with other College offices and provides campus leadership for services including academic and curricular services, academic course offerings, professional development opportunities for faculty and staff, student activities, new student orientation, disability services, judicial affairs, counseling, career development, multicultural affairs and transfer services. Similarly, the Director oversees the day-to-day services in enrollment management including recruitment, admissions, financial aid, assessment testing, academic advising and registration. The overall responsibility is to maintain a professional atmosphere on the Campus and give quality services to all Campus constituencies.

Primary Functions:

  • Manage the overall daily activities of the Upper Bucks Campus and troubleshoot when necessary.

  • Administer "on the spot" decision making required to meet the demands of faculty, students, staff, and the community at large.

  • Director will work in conjunction with the Executive Dean to: Coordinate campus direction in terms of services and programs to all constituents, represent campus in college-wide meetings as they relate to Upper Bucks Campus, establish and create relationships and partnerships with external organizations in the community, cooperate with media representatives, actively recruit visitors to the campus, and create visibility among community leaders in regard to the Campus in line with the College's mission and vision.

Secondary Functions:

  • Supervise staff and provide leadership to those who are employed at UBC.

  • Work in conjunction with the Executive Dean to oversee operational budget.

  • Facilitate daily questions and concerns to all constituencies of the campus.

  • Provide leadership to staff employed on campus, but who have different reporting lines.

Salary range: $73,695 - $96,928 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years work experience or Master degree

  • Highly developed interpersonal communication, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills are necessary, as well as the ability to direct multiple priorities as they relate to dealing with the operation of an entire campus with nearly 1200 students, instructors, and visitors.

  • Solid computer skills are essential.
