Summary:

The Assistant Director in the Center for Executive Education at Fox School of Business, reporting directly to the Managing Director, manages the logistics of executive education programs. In addition they act as a liaison to clients, assist with project management, and support sales activity.

This role oversees the execution of in-person and virtual executive education programs with the overall goal of fostering strong internal and external relationships that drive executive education revenue. The incumbent monitors client relationships, faculty relations, and the delivery of executive education programs to ensure all stakeholders receive excellent service and support before, during, and after engagements. The Assistant Director works with Center staff to drive continuous quality improvement by supporting program evaluation efforts (including assisting with surveys, focus groups and analysis of gathered data) and consulting on internal process refinement. They assist with maintenance and organization of Center software, databases, and files. They are responsible for executing program participant and alumni engagement strategies. As directed, they work with Center and Fox School staff to assist in developing and implementing strategies that generate and convert quality leads into sales.

Manages the logistics of executive education programs, acts as a liaison to clients, assist with project management, and supports sales activity. Oversees the execution of in-person and virtual executive education programs with the overall goal of fostering strong relationships that drive executive education revenue. Monitors client relationships, faculty relations, and the of executive education programs to ensure all stakeholders receive excellent service and support before, during, and after engagements. Works with Center staff to drive continuous quality improvement by supporting program evaluation efforts (including assisting with surveys, focus groups and analysis of gathered data).

Consults with Center staff on internal process refinement. Assist in the development of proposals and contracts, manage the payment of facilitators, and help with other administrative duties that contribute to the Center's success. Continuously review new trends in talent development and human resources, and share these trends and observations with Center staff.

Performs additional duties as assigned in response to changing Center needs and priorities.

At this time, the position will be a hybrid of remote and in-person work. In addition to the above responsibilities, the below describes the remote aspects of the position:

Familiar with Zoom and its basic abilities, with the willingness to learn more in-depth features.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of related program administrative experience including event and meeting planning, project management support, and sales support. Experience working with senior level executives is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities:

*Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

*Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high-level of professionalism in person, by phone, and via email. High comfort level with an executive audience a plus.

*A demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with varying timelines.

*Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading, and speaking (both in-person and online).

*Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of executives, faculty, and staff (both in-person and online).

*Demonstrated ability to handle confidential materials.

*Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as a team player across multiple levels of an organization.

*Ability to run real-time online training programs.

*Strong proficiency in computer systems and various software applications including: Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint), Zoom, and Salesforce. Experience with Ellucian Banner, Modern Campus Destiny One, SAP Concur, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, Campaign Monitor, Vimeo and learning management systems (i.e. Canvas) a plus.

*Ability to pivot in a dynamic environment.

*Ability to travel to regional locations that may not be accessible via public transportation. Ability to travel nationally or internationally should the need arise.

*Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as necessary.

*Experience in the Executive Education field is a plus, but not required.

This position requires a background check.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
