The District manager position is responsible for propane delivery drivers, customer satisfaction, district growth and DOT Safety. You will act as a business owner and inspires the team to grow the market share and customer base. Experience in routing and dispatch of DOT employees is needed, along with fleet management experience.

Responsibilities
  • Acts as a business owner, focusing on operations management. Utilizes management experience to set an example and inspire the team to embrace every new opportunity, defend the customer base, and capture increased market share.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for District P&L/budget, safety, sales, and personnel, leveraging management experience with a focus on operations management.
  • Oversees routing and dispatch of DOT fleet to ensure safe and efficient delivery to retail, commercial, and industrial customers
  • Engages in field operations, customer interaction and employee development. This is not an office based position, but rather an all-encompassing leadership position that is field based. Travel between locations may be required.
  • Ensures District compliance with company, DOT safety policies, and regulations.
  • Utilizes management experience to select, train, coach, and develop district employees, creating and upholding a work environment that encourages employee morale.
  • Instills and upholds a customer service culture within the district to foster retention, relationships, and loyalty, positioning the district for increased growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • DOT or propane gas experience preferred
  • CDL with hazmat endorsement, preferred
  • Solid understanding of distribution, dispatching, and utilizing management experience in operations management
  • Solid understanding of expense management concepts, including management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
