In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and validating low complexity test protocols and reports to ensure compliance with federal and/or state regulations, as well as plan approvals and operating permits. You will also be tasked with analyzing engineering calculations to ascertain production and emission rates and making informed recommendations for retests or limitations on the use of test data. Additionally, you will be required to observe and document field sampling activities of low complexity, utilizing engineering principles to determine the impact of sampling modifications on emissions results. Furthermore, part of your duties will involve providing technical guidance to various stakeholders including DEP staff, the regulated community, environmental associations, and government agencies on DEP's laws, regulations, and acceptable practices in a clear and concise manner.
