This role requires utilizing your skills to fix a range of building structures including roofs, doors, furniture, and constructing temporary partitions and forms. You will also be responsible for operating power and hand tools for carpentry tasks. Additionally, you will be involved in painting both interior and exterior surfaces, performing masonry work on buildings and foundations, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and drainage systems, as well as diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and systems. Welding and brazing metals using arc and acetylene welders, as well as erecting steel for construction purposes, are also part of the job. Lastly, you will be involved in repairing bridge structures by building forms, finishing concrete, and welding steel components based on blueprint plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch
• Schedule may change due to weather and season

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement:

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• Certified welder certificate in accordance with AWS and PENNDOT specifications preferred.
