Job Title: Occupational Therapist - PRN

Job Description:

Inpatient Occupational Therapist

PRN - Days

  • The staff occupational therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment plan; and set goals for patients.
  • Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
  • The OT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
  • The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students, the department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.
  • The therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise Occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
  • The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.
  • The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a school of Occupational Therapy
  • Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Occupational Therapy
