The Frank Business Communication Center in the Tippie College of Business is seeking one or more graders for the Fall 2024 course BUS:3000 Business Communication and Protocol. The grader will assist one of the Frank Center's full-time BUS:3000 instructors in assessing undergraduates' written and visual assignments for the course.

Job duties:

* Meet with BUS:3000 instructor as needed to establish grading norms and turnaround times for assessments

* Read and provide constructive feedback on assignments for four sections of 28 students each

* In consultation with the instructor, write feedback on and assign letter or number grades to students' work

* Respond to instructor emails within 48 business hours.

Required Qualifications:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to complete quality work based on a pre-determined schedule

* Ability to meet deadlines

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Qualifications:

* Master's degree preferred

* Experience in data visualization and slide design

* Previous teaching experience

Compensation is $24/hour; we anticipate approximately 200 - 250 hours over the course of the semester.
