Join Our Team as a Warehouse Lead/Trainer!

Shift: Second Shift (Sun-Thurs) 4:00PM to 12:30AM

About the Role:
As a Warehouse Lead/Trainer, you'll play a crucial role in our team by training new warehouse employees. Your goal is to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. You'll also help maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, covering warehouse policies, safety procedures, and job expectations.
  • Provide hands-on training for various warehouse tasks, including order picking, loading, and receiving.
  • Assist in creating training materials and documentation.
  • Keep track of employee training progress and certifications.
  • Mentor new hires, offering guidance and support as they learn their roles.
  • Check pallet conditions and report any damage or inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure pallets are wrapped and stacked safely for transport.
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) data to maintain inventory control.
  • Identify areas for additional training and provide coaching to improve performance.
  • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all employees are trained in safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to improve warehouse processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and training techniques.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage learners of various backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Ability to accommodate flexible schedules.

Physical Demands:

  • Combination of standing, walking, reaching, and using hands.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception acuities.
