Job Title: Global Sourcing Intern
Location: Latrobe, PA (hybrid)

Job Summary:

We're currently seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as interns in our Global Sourcing organization. An internship within Kennametal Global Sourcing allows students to be a part of meaningful sourcing and procurement projects, while providing mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside leadership, Global Sourcing interns will sharpen their skills through hands-on learning.


Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead business process improvement initiatives through data analytics, root cause analysis and developing actions plans.
• Effectively representing functional area on cross-functional teams.
• Support the development and maintenance of SharePoint Site to manage standard operating procedures and policy documents for Global Sourcing team.
• Conduct spend analytics to identify areas where Category Management Teams can capture additional value through strategic sourcing activities.
• Assist Global Sourcing team in various projects. May include large data projects utilizing SAP, Sievo, PowerBI and Excel. Organizing information through PowerPoint presentations, etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related program.
• Must have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
• Ability to meet a hybrid working schedule at our Latrobe, PA location.
