Job Description

BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) develops novel, cutting edge products and offers custom services to advance scientific innovation and discovery. We are currently looking for a talented, detail-oriented individual to join our growing Custom Product Development and Lyophilization Team. The successful candidate will work in a BSL-2 level lab and drive development and manufacturing of new custom products, while strictly adhering to good manufacturing and documentation practices. Potential candidates should have a passion for success, be a team player, able to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and must possess excellent organization skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently and willingness to take on responsibility and complete assignments at a rapid pace is highly desired.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare buffers and solutions using established SOPs and batch records
  • Prepare and aliquot antibody cocktails and cell-based products for manufacture using established batch records
  • Perform quality control testing of products using flow cytometry
  • Operate and maintain equipment and instruments used in the manufacturing process (pH meter, pipettes, flow cytometer, lyophilizer)
  • Work with human and animal samples
  • Communication and good documentation practices
  • Perform other production support activities as needed

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • AA degree with minimum of 1 year industry experience or Bachelor's degree with some experience working in a laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-year industry experience
  • Experience performing basic flow cytometry assays
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QSR or GMP
  • Experience with lyophilization

The base salary range for this full-time position is $26.44-$28/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

Work Environment & Physical Demands - Lab

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
