DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Roadway Programs Technician 2, your role will involve supporting facility and roadside beautification initiatives while adhering to environmental regulations. You will be expected to demonstrate best practices in all organizational activities. Moreover, you will contribute to our county's commitment to delivering high-quality services and accurate information. Your responsibilities will also include managing reimbursable activities to ensure timely repairs of damaged guiderails, signs, and other facilities. Additionally, you will assist the Roadway Program's Coordinator in procuring and distributing materials required for field operations. Lastly, you will be encouraged to explore opportunities for providing exceptional service through face-to-face interactions with customers, active participation in teams, and innovative utilization of necessary tools and ideas.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1. or
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program. or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
