In this role, you will oversee functions of caseworkers of Blair County Children, Youth & Families (BCCYF), guide decision-making, ensure comprehensive investigation and service planning, cover supervised employees' caseloads when needed, and participate in supervising emergency duty. BCCYF supervisors are the main support for our caseworkers. You will mentor caseworkers, collaborate with community stakeholders, and work with the Administrative team to lead the agency.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 35 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Rotating Emergency Duty Supervisor coverage will be required for after-hour calls, with additional compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
