The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and providing for age-appropriate patient care, possibly from neonates to geriatrics. This includes the immediate, short-term nursing care needs of patients, as well as, planning for long-term needs. The nurse's scope of practice is determined by the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and established Baptist Health and patient care services policies, procedures and standards of practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of school of nursing, or higher with current unrestricted Kentucky license required.
One-year experience as Registered Nurse required.
Ability to work well under stress and possess effective communication skills is required.
BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
ACLS preferred upon hire, required within one year of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One-year critical care experience preferred.
