Summary:

The TCALC Application Coordinator reports to the TCALC Strategic Enrollment Manager and is primarily responsible for processing all applications for students applying to IELP, Conditional Admission, and Special Programs. The application coordinator will communicate regularly with applicants regarding missing information and documents, including documents required for application forms I-20 and DS-2019. Using DestinyOne, ISSM, and ATSA (the Center's CRM tracking system), the application coordinator will enter and maintain accurate student data, including student re-registration information, and maintain student communication. The application coordinator will work closely with all TCALC offices to implement high-yield strategies and with International Student and Scholar Services to gather student financial documentation to facilitate timely issuance of SEVIS documents. Additionally, the application coordinator will manage up to three student workers.

Required Education & Experience:

At least 2 years of directly related experience providing administrative support in a higher education setting. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Excellent customer service.

*Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with non-native English speakers.

*Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

*Knowledge of Windows office suite.

*Computer skills and ability to learn and use new systems quickly and independently.

*Attention to details.

*Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

*Ability to problem-solve.

Preferred:

*Experience working in a university-based English Language Program.

*Ability to communicate in another language in addition to English.

This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
