Job Description Overview

Cardio Partners is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead a national sales force consisting of Sales Leaders, Field Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives. This is a remote position.

Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, is a national leader in emergency prevention and an ardent advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Cardio Partners offers complete cardiac solutions to our customers including equipment, consultation, end-to-end training, and program management. As an authorized master distributer of all FDA-approved defibrillator devices, the company provides customers the best-in-class value for new and recertified equipment. Customers' emergency preparedness needs are met via Cardio Partners' nationwide CPR training courses and state-of-the-art program management services.


Responsibilities

Summary:

The Cardio Partners Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading a national sales force consisting of Sales Leaders, Field Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives. As a key member of the Cardio Partners leadership team the Vice President of Sales will lead and deploy Cardio Partners sales strategy and tactics in support of profitable revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous sales growth by developing and communicating sales strategy and tactics that mobilize the sales force to achieve and sustain superior results.
  • Build upon and improve sales processes and metrics for increased productivity, profitable revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to develop quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives by product line, services, and geographic territory.
  • Monitor and communicate progress against sales objectives through weekly, quarterly and annual sales plans. Make appropriate and timely decisions to ensure progress is tracking to or exceeding plans.
  • Reevaluate sales tactics on an ongoing basis to ensure achievement of sales goals.
  • Administer sales compensation plan and determine annual sales quotas that align with Annual Operating Plan.
  • Assess market, competitor and supplier actions and collaborate with Marketing team to ensure best in class product offering.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key customers and supplier partners to stay abreast of current and emerging customer needs.
  • Build and sustain a world class safes force by attracting, selecting, and retaining high caliber talent.
  • Take an active role in developing the sales team through individual performance feedback, team meetings, stretch assignments, regional sales meetings and national sales meetings.
  • Empower self and others through effective, collaborative relationships that accomplish sales objectives and create an open and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure sales team is equipped with the tools and resources to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • In the trenches Servant Leader that engages at all levels to ensure that the sales organization sustains focus on key strategic imperatives.

  • Proven track record of training and developing a sales leaders and sales team.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams to be accountable for results and commitments.
  • Successful experience delivering clear sales direction leading to consistent sales execution.
  • Proven leader who has a strong personal development acumen and ability to coach sales management team to achieve sustained performance excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of ten years' sales leadership experience with a proven track record of leading high performing B2B sales teams including both sales leaders and individual sellers.
  • Capital equipment and services sales experience desired.
  • Experience developing new territories, territory optimization and channel development.
  • Experience in ecommerce, government, and enterprise sales desired.
  • Experience leading field sales and inside sales preferred.
  • Must be located near a Major National Airport.
  • Sales compensation planning and development experience.
  • E-commerce experienced desired.
  • M&A experience desired.
