The Behavioral Economics Design Initiative (BEDI) in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School, Department of Economics is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position will provide administrative support for the BEDI Director, faculty and for BEDI associated activities such as events, external visitors, and research studies. The position will also be responsible for travel arrangements for Director and BEDI visitors. Will purchase promotional materials via the University purchasing system and maintain the BEDI, Vesterlund, and No Club websites and social media presence.
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
The successful candidate will use a computer extensively. The incumbent must be capable of oral, written, and electronic communications. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. In addition to a computer, they must be able to use a telephone and other general office equipment including but not limited to fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, printers, etc.
This position is generally sedentary within an office setting, but the ability to travel around campus is occasionally necessary. Also, must be able to pick-up and carry 25 pounds.
