As an Audit Specialist 2, you will perform developmental, analytical, evaluative, and administrative duties in support of the BCSE. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating state Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Program Objectives, financial and audit policy, procedures, and operations to ensure compliance with federal Title IV-D Program requirements and improve county Domestic Relations Sections performance. Maintaining a current knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and federal and state laws, rules, and regulations is essential.
Within this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing administrative and program support to an Audit Specialist 3 and providing technical assistance, training, and guidance to local county agencies regarding federal financial accounting. You will develop and deliver training to local county agencies and BCSE staff on new and revised fiscal policies and procedures, in addition to investigating and responding to questions and problems related to federal fiscal spending.
