The Digital Marketing Tech, Senior Architect is responsible for the end-to-end technical architecture of GSK's Digital Stack related to data architecture, measurement, and tagging, from design through implementation and testing, within GSK's Digital Marketing Technology organization. The Senior Architect will lead the development and execution of technical strategies to support GSK's digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates, designs, and manages the technical data architecture for analytics, tag management, web testing, and audience management.

  • Responsible for developing implementation architecture plans and development requirements by creating detailed design and technical architecture documents.

  • Translates business requirements into technical design and leads the implementation, maintenance, and integration of Marketing Cloud components using Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Audience Manager, Tealium, and AEM.

  • Designs and implements data governance to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and IT, to align technical solutions with business objectives and ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies.

  • Stays up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing technologies and provides thought leadership to drive innovation and optimization of GSK's digital marketing stack.

  • Mentors and guides junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Digital Marketing Technology organization.

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing technology, with a focus on data architecture, measurement, and tagging.

  • Experience in designing and implementing technical architectures for marketing technologies, particularly Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Audience Manager, Tealium, and AEM.

  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices, including data quality, security, and privacy regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
