Technical responsibilities will be carried out to support the assessment, examination, and enhancement of maintenance operations aligned with management goals and department protocols in Bedford County. Moreover, ensuring work plans are well-balanced and have the necessary resources like labor, materials, equipment, and funds will be part of the duties. Adjustments to work plans will be made as necessary, and field crew personnel in systems applications and Products (SAP) will be managed based on directives from Assistant Highway Maintenance Manager (AHMM) or Roadway Programs Coordinator (RPC), either bi-annually or more frequently. Reviewing and analyzing data from SAP, plant maintenance and roadway management systems will be done to maintain program objectives and system control.
