Job Description
Facilitate and manage the transport of aged client vehicles to Manheim Baltimore Washington. Collaborating with clients, team members, and business partners to transport units efficiently and within client guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Logistics point of contact for Manheim Baltimore-Washington.


  • Develops working relationships with auction representatives, carriers, and repo agents


  • Uses problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues, escalating difficult issues that arise.


  • Prioritizes daily tasks and completes tasks in an accurate and efficient manner.


  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with the various departments supporting the overall business / Logistics process.


  • Communicates with various auction teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated movement of vehicles through the auction process.


  • Investigates and systemically resolves emerging issues, ensuring lessons learned drive future customer interaction.


  • Notifies customer account representatives and relevant transporter of vehicle transportation issues.


Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required in order to obtain expected delivery/pick-up times.
  • Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
  • Solid computer skills, including the ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception.


Preferred

  • 1 - 3 years of direct Auction experience or 2 - 4 years of dealership experience strongly preferred.


USD 17.45 - 26.11 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $17.45 - $26.11/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
