The Corporate Account Executive is responsible for developing relationships, setting strategy, and driving results with key foodservice broadline distributors. This position is accountable for calling on the accounts at their corporate headquarters, and working with the national field sales team to deliver results. As such, the Account Executive position is highly collaborative, both internally and externally, working with cross-functional resources to develop and implement customized programs.

  • Develop and manage the distributors' corporate strategy and relationship to ensure that the organization is aligned to key priorities and deliverables.
  • Develop and align joint business plans, including strategic pricing agreements, marketing plans, category management, innovation, and promotional activity.
  • Collaborate with the internal support and external field sales teams to set execution plans that deliver on strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pricing, insights, culinary, and operations to develop programs and offerings that deepen strategic customer relationships.
  • Support large leverage operators within the distributor customer base.
  • Participate in key corporate initiatives as either a team member or steering team member to ensure that these cross-disciple efforts meet corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point person for all distributor related activities including but not limited to both fresh and value added business issues (i.e. service level, capacity and growth, pricing and contracts, credits and deductions, payment and terms).

Education
Bachelors (preferred)
High School or GED (required)

Experience
8 years: Experience in food sales calling on corporate distributor headquarters with a strong customer centered focus. Knowledge of the foodservice business, and emerging channel dynamics. Demonstrated ability to initiate and execute measurable and sustainable process improvement in a sales organization. Management presence; ability to present to senior management across the organization. Strong analytical skills. Ability to excel in fast-paced environment where change & growth are part of the culture. (required)
