In this position, you will act as the Employee Relations Coordinator for the veterans home, where you will manage labor relations activities involving multiple unions. In this role, you will serve as the labor relations analyst assigned to the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Work includes coordinating and overseeing labor relation issues, analyzing time and attendance data, and collaborating with the safety coordinator. This position will require you to maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth policies, agency policies, discipline history, and contract language to ensure consistent discipline recommendations and implementation. You will have the opportunity to build working relationships with supervisors as you guide them through processes involving discipline or corrective actions. You will be responsible for leading labor management meetings, coordinating second step case presentations, and representing management in negotiations with the union.
