Job Summary

This role is responsible for cold call prospecting, selling, and implementing new business that aligns with the definition of a national account and within their assigned territory and/or vertical. Works with internal stakeholders to build Ambius Revenue, including but not limited to pricing proposals, scopes of work, customer service requirements, billing requirements, and the successful implementation of such programs. Will be required to achieve or exceed the annual baseline target set by the company.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of cold call prospecting activity through various prospecting tools.
  • Capture weekly new business outreach activity, contracted sales, started sales, contract vs job sales in CRM or other tools provided by the company
  • Identify and develop relationships with prospective customers to leverage strategic selling methods to present and sell live & artificial plant design, green/moss walls, hygiene, scenting, & holiday decor.
  • Consult with and present capabilities to industry leaders, such as architects and design firms. This may include speaking engagement opportunities in trade shows or client conferences
  • Exhibits behaviors of self-accountability to ensure consistent delivery of high prospecting activity and sales performance while maintaining key relationships internally and externally
  • Travel to various meetings with prospective customers, business reviews as needed, trade shows, and internal trainings/meetings that will produce an ROI
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to achieve the annual baseline target.
  • Works with counterparts to share leads and cross-sell NA sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize account profitability.


CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience

  • 3+ Years of regional or national commercial sales
  • Proven record of new business commercial sales performance
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience selling into multiple business verticals
  • Self-motivated and self-accountable
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, with ability to operate and influence cross-functionally at all levels
  • Maintains a valid driver's license/clean driving record
  • Skilled with Google applications


Required Traits and Characteristics

  • Self-Accountable, self-motivated, competitive, resilient, high integrity, Indirect Leadership

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • Bachelor's Degree - BA, BS preferred
  • Must successfully meet pre-employment background screen
