SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for performing accounts payable functions within the accounting department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process daily accounts payable invoices
- Process credit invoices against Return Goods Notice
- Reconcile paid not received and received not paid, aging, and credit card statements
- Maintain vendor files and vendor coding
- Adhere to month end close deadlines; and perform accounts payable month end closing and accrual preparation
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to independently meet frequent deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Intermediate knowledge with all Microsoft Office applications
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree in accounting or business
- Purchase order and/or inventory clearing experience
OTHER:
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
