About the Team:

This role sits within our Platform and Enterprise Products organization for FIS
(specifically within Sales Operations), responsible for further building out our enterprise product strategy. By creating an open, next-generation fintech platform, FIS expands its solution offerings that can be embedded in any application that supports our clients' financial services processes - from payments to banking to wealth to capital markets

About the Sales Operations Team

The Sales Operations team enables the end-to-end sales experience for all prospects across the Platforms and Enterprise products line of business. We build and manage the tools and sales process used by the sales teams associated with each product line. We sit at the center of our commercial and functional teams to build the deal approval process and reduce the time to revenue for our products and services.

The team operates on an agile methodology to optimize the sales process, rapidly enabling enhancements, and then reporting out on sales performance to both executives and sales leaders. The interconnectivity of sales performance management with our underlying systems and processes allows the team to continuously adjust to changing commercial needs.

As we start this journey to grow the Platforms and Enterprise Products line of business, the team is responsible for building the capabilities meant to bring our commercial teams together onto a single unified set of processes and tools and set the strategy for future sales motions.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leads the organization's sales compensation programs across several lines of business.

  • Assists with design, implementation, communication and administration of new incentive plans, recognition and rewards programs. Provides budget analysis, track and report on status of on-going plan activity.

  • Partners with business leaders to find solutions that support our overall sales objectives while aligning to our core compensation framework.

  • Partners with key stakeholders in our People Office to ensure accurate rendering and processing against the plan.

  • Tracks, analyzes and reports on year over year merit and bonus budget. Creates annual budget forecasts based on merit and bonus plan funding.

  • Assists the Head of Sales Operations with on-going projects, maintains project timelines, creates presentations, communication materials, policies, etc.

  • Leads projects, makes presentations to groups, and manages multiple projects with shifting priorities.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years' professional level compensation experience in the design and administration of compensation programs.

  • Mastery in PC skills including Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel - must be proficient in pivot tables, vlookups, graphing, formulas and functions.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop sound recommendations and solutions. Exceptional mathematics skills.

  • Strong knowledge of government regulations as they apply to compensation base and incentive compensation programs, company policies and operations.

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with top management

  • Excellent problem solving, independent decision making, analytical and time management skills managing multiple tasks/deadlines for self and others.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $91,800.00 - $154,220.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
