Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Business Strategy & Operations Associate to join our Sales team. This position is expected to report to our Berwyn office.

Job Summary:

The Business Strategy & Operations Associate for Workplace Solutions will work cross-functionally with distribution, marketing, legal, compliance, product, engineering, operations, analytics, finance and PMO to facilitate seamless execution, fact-based decision-making, and accountability across the organization. This position will provide strategic and operational support for all aspects of the day-to-day business functions including workforce strategy and prioritization, streamlining workflows/operations, product development, stakeholder communication and engagement, executive reporting, issue and risk management, objective and key result management, and long-term strategy for the business

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operational efficiency & data aggregation: Modify and streamline processes to enhance efficiencies. Optimize operational processes and workflows to achieve a favorable user experience, enable scalable solutions, and comply with fiduciary responsibilities. Enhance data aggregation and reporting capabilities to be industry leading.
  • Executive reporting, financial reporting, & special projects: Serve as resource for routine and ad-hoc executive reporting, influence metrics-based decision making, and cost analysis. Navigate internal teams and build stakeholder relationships to deliver key initiatives efficiently and effectively.
  • Distribution & marketing: Support distribution teams on metrics-based prioritization of pipeline and implementations. Collaborate with marketing to maximize exposure of the business through campaigns, industry events, and awards ceremonies.
  • Product development: Partner with product management to coordinate and prioritize development roadmap, client requests, third-party integrations, and implementations.
  • Legal & compliance: Foster strong partnership and alignment with legal and compliance teams to proactively resolve roadblocks and protect all aspects of the business.
  • Strategy & market intelligence: Facilitate evaluation of industry trends and competitors on an on-going basis to formulate new, and pivot on existing, strategies to achieve an industry leading platform, scale, investment opportunities, and best-in-class recruiting.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business-strategy role (Management consulting, Hedge Fund, Banking, Operations at a start-up, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, project, and time management skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload; ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quality product
  • Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes
  • Proven success in a high growth, constantly changing environment
