Position: Manager, Outreach MLHL
Shift: 1st shift
Essential Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a successful outreach sales program which positions Main Line Health Laboratories as a high quality, efficient and competitive service provider within the market. Oversees all aspects of the program to include but not limited to Client Liaison team, Courier Operations, Outreach Phlebotomy services and staff.
* Work closely with Administrative Director, Operations to insure adequate systems are in place to support successful customer service through core laboratory operations. These include, specimen receipt, specimen processing and handling, accuracy in testing and reporting. Coordinates client problem resolutions in these areas and assure appropriate client follow-up through Client Liaisons in conjunction with the overall MLHL client and patient service strategy.
* Maintain an effective Courier operation, focusing on staffing levels, staff standards of appearance, reliable specimen handling policies and procedures, turnaround times and on-time performance, route maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and traffic safety.
* Maintain an effective Outreach Phlebotomist operation, focusing on staffing levels, staff standards of appearance, reliable specimen handling policies and procedures, patient and client satisfaction, and staff training and competency.
* Responsible for Outreach budget development, monitoring and control. Work with Finance and Patient Accounting Departments in determining fee schedule, discounts, and other pricing strategies.
Experience:
* At least 5 years of progressively responsible marketing / sales management responsibility, preferably in a laboratory outreach / referral testing program.
* Sales experience within the commercial laboratory environment strongly preferred.
Thorough knowledge and proven track record of marketing and sales activities including market analysis, account development and sales staff training is expected.
Education:
BS/BA Degree: Business, Finance, or Marketing. Masters degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.
