Job Description

Position: Salesforce Developer

Location: Wayne, PA (100% Remote)

Description of work to be performed:

Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, VisualForce, and web-service APIs. Implement updates to custom fields, workflows, process-builder flows, and custom settings - using Salesforce clicks-not-code technologies. Coordinate software development with QA and UAT testing teams, updating Agile user-story-based status. Use data loader and other tools to research and maintain data integrity when required. Support evening and weekend software releases as required to deliver new and maintenance work to production. Perform document development work, conduct research on assigned topics, and participate in technical team sessions in creating solutions. Perform troubleshooting and support production as needed, engage in research of issues, and fix defects. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce technology for current and upcoming Salesforce releases and maintain Salesforce developer certifications. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of related experience. The position also requires experience with all of the following: 1 year of experience developing Apex triggers and controllers, and VisualForce pages using Eclipse Force.com IDE and Salesforce console dev environments. Knowledge of SOQL and 1 year of experience creating, debugging, and improving performance of data queries. 1 year of experience creating and maintaining custom objects, fields, formula, validation rules, workflows, process-builder, and similar Salesforce clicks-not-code technologies. 1 year of experience with Salesforce Force.com SOAP and REST Web Service APIs for integrations to/from other systems. Telecommuting may be permitted. 100% Remote. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00am-5:00PM, M-F, $80,080.00 per year.
