The Business Development Manager is accountable for maintaining sales coverage and developing the market for Wesco products and services within an assigned geographical territory an extensive traveling; for collaborating with Inside/Outside Sales and branch offices in support of building and maintaining sales; and incorporating Wesco sales initiatives, policies and programs in support of business plans and strategic objectives.
Individual will work independently to solidify customer relationships through sales calls, application and design assistance, and product demonstrations, through maintaining a strong market intelligence, product knowledge and awareness of local competitive conditions; and will provide prompt reporting to the Outside Sales Director.
