Position Summary:

The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages associates and strengthens the company's culture. The role will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to take complex information and condense it into simple, consumable content and compelling stories for associates.

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable working with all levels of associate, from individual contributors to senior business leaders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Plays a key role in identifying and executing the internal communications strategy for the organization, including key messaging and communication channels.
  • Creates and delivers internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, at times may include videos, and presentations.
  • Partners with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values.
  • Monitors and measures the effectiveness of internal communications and makes recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Develops and maintains a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant.
  • Identifies opportunities to promote associate engagement fostering company culture.
  • Designs content and oversees execution of weekly company communication newsletters, key project updates, DEIB communications, cultural and wellness calendars, companywide meetings and other events driven from Culture & People.
  • Assists with emergency preparedness communications, ensuring all associates are informed and up-to-date.
  • Maintains internal communication tools.
  • Demonstrates project, time management, and leadership by overseeing and executing communication initiatives.
  • Embraces our diversity, equity, and inclusion culture through collaboration, ensuring an inclusive environment, and supporting DEI programs; and assisting with special ad hoc projects.
  • Supports other Culture & People Department initiatives such as serving as a mentor for teammates, actively participating in community relations, and performs other duties as assigned.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • At least three years of experience in internal communications or related field.
  • Experience with content creation and delivery including newsletters.
