Vaco is working with an industry leading high-tech manufacturing company that is looking for a Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Analyst to participate in a mix of FP&A and Accounting job duties and projects. We are looking for someone that has budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills along with string general ledger corporate accounting skills. This role will be focused on accounting duties during the month end close period then for the rest of the month focused on FP&A activities.

Base salary for this role will be in the 110k to 140k range based on experience, skill set, and how things develop during the interview process and there is a discretionary bonus and a 401k match program. Any Project Management and manufacturing industry cost accounting experience would be a plus but not required.

This person will meet with and work collaboratively with different department heads to help create, monitor, and discuss each of their budgets. There will be meetings every week or every month to discuss the budgets and help provide insight into variance and root causes. This is a highly visible role within the company as there will also be a lot of interaction with VPs and Directors and there will be many opportunities to provide insight, opinion, and suggestions as it relates to strategy for the company.

An MBA, or CPA, and experience with JDE ERP (JD Edwards) is desired but not required. We do need someone with strong Excel skills as you will "live in Excel" for many of your days.
