Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Treasury & Risk Manager. This position will be a critical contributor to our team based in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities include: data collection for Corporate insurance renewals, modeling, analysis, and strong coordination with internal teams to produce the best outcome for Enovis for all things insurance related. This position will play a key role in assisting, building and reshaping our entire insurance program for Enovis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Day to day insurance related activities including:
  • Gathering, compiling and analyzing renewal data across the organization in order to develop detailed, thorough and accurate renewal submissions;
  • Participation in open items calls, underwriting meetings, strategy meetings, and market presentations;
  • Partnering with insurance broker(s) throughout the renewal process;
  • Reviewing key insurance documents such as binders, policies and summaries of insurance, contracts, and other ad hoc market data
  • Managing Certificate of Insurance (COI) processing and requests as well as annual renewals of the COIs;
  • Overseeing the surety bond process, including acting as liaison with key corporate stakeholders, fielding questions and requests, interfacing with surety bond broker and managing fulfillment and invoicing
  • Analyze market conditions and Identify patterns that may impact insurance outcomes.
  • Utilize and understand statistical and financial models and tools to assess risk and predict future trends.
  • Strategize with brokers and underwriters to determine appropriate coverage and premiums/retentions.
  • Evaluate potential risks associated with various insurance lines and recommend changes to the terms and conditions where necessary.
  • Assist in setting pricing strategies for insurance products to achieve profitability goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on key items, risk exposure, and other relevant items
  • Partner with Broker to stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work with Finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure policies and practices align with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, actuaries, claims analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze information.
  • Provide insurance and risk related support and insights to various departments within the company.
  • Review and facilitate payment of department expenses and track spending against budget. Prepare insurance related pre-paid schedule for the accounting group.
  • Analyze diligence related requests when evaluating potential acquisitions.
  • Assist with various Corporate Treasury related projects, operations, and other initiatives.
  • Partner with Sr Treasury & Risk Manager to ensure successful renewals, appropriate risk exposures, and departmental goals are met.
  • Other Risk Management and Treasury related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of Risk Management / Insurance related experience
  • Interest in developing knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting processes, and risk management
  • Comfortable working in a cross functional and international environment
  • Strong qualitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter, committed to provide practical solutions to complex situations
  • Efficient communicator
  • Detailed, organized, accurate with sense of urgency
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry
  • Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
  • Ability to manage to deadlines
  • Experience using general management, project and task management tools.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 25% travel, domestic and international
