Specialist, Speaker Bureau and Customer Engagement

The Specialist, Speaker Bureau and Customer Engagement], reports into the Associate Director, Speaker Bureau and Customer Engagement, in support of an assigned Business Unit.

The individual has responsibility for operational oversight and the execution of the following commercial, field-based, educational and promotional efforts in the following area:

  • Healthcare Provider Speaker Bureau
  • Regional Meetings Product Displays
  • National Meetings Product Theaters
  • Patient Educational Events
  • Advisory Board

The person in this role must have a working understanding of the goals and objectives of the business they support and work in collaboration with a broad set of cross-functional partners, including Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Medical, Sales and external vendor partners. Success will be determined by the individual's ability to demonstrate effective communication, planning, program coordination, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to successfully execute on multiple concurrent initiatives and work cross functionally across multiple teams.

Essential Functions
  • Support the Jazz Marketing Teams and Field-based teams and the Jazz-contracted logistics vendor to ensure training, the smooth planning, execution and close-out of field-based educational and promotional programs (Healthcare Provider Speaker Bureau, Regional Meetings Product Displays and National Meetings Product Theaters).
  • Understand, and be able to articulate the associated business rules and assume a lead role in day-to-day problem-solving, escalating to management and/or Compliance as appropriate.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of speaker training, ensuring that all associated contracts are fully executed ahead of the training event and provide logistical support (live or virtual) as needed.
  • Assume a support role in the successful coordination Regional Meetings Product Displays and Patient Educational Events, ensuring all appropriate approvals, documentation, and contracts are in place.
  • Provide visibility into program operations and activity by developing and maintaining accurate weekly reporting
  • Support the planning, contracting and as needed, the execution of Advisory Boards. Partner with agencies and logistics providers to ensure all Jazz policies, procedures, and established business rules are followed and that all advisory board materials are centrally archived.
  • Support in the execution of assigned projects for the Business Unit supported to maximize the impact of the programs.
  • Assist, and cover for peers supporting other Business Units as workloads shift throughout the year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated success in managing vendor-partners including third party service providers
  • Working knowledge of health care practices, services, technologies, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners

For this role, the full and complete base pay range is $80,000-$120,000. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
