Job Description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Centralized Operations team. The Operations Analyst provides technical and function support to account uses. You will interact with accounting and other operations teams and development groups internally, as well as externally with clients and service providers.

This is a second shift role with the following working hours:

Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

What you will do:

  • This role will focus on processing corporate actions and portfolio valuations.

  • You will manage clients' mandatory corporate actions ensure all instructions from custodian, client or vendors are processed correctly. Actively engage with vendor, clients and custodians to establish a working relationship and proper communication channels. Additionally, you will manage the documentation of processes and procedures relating to individual client needs.

  • Ensuring all established processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely on a daily basis, including daily pricing procedures.

  • You will resolve daily exceptions that arise from automated trade file processes; perform pricing functions for securities across portfolio positions; assist with security master setups and asset data maintenance; support with implementing new clients; research and process corporate actions and dividend income for IMS clients.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a plus.

  • Willingness to learn MS Access VBA programming and database design concepts.

  • The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
