The Role:

We are currently seeking a talented and innovativeProgram Managerto join our Operational Excellence/Strategic Projects team inAmbler, PAand lead capital projects to expand manufacturing capacity and manage capital portfolios.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead capital projects to expand manufacturing capacity, transition products to high volume manufacturing, or implement continuous improvements to existing products/processes.
  • Utilize project management techniques to develop project charters, budgets, risk assessments, resource plans, Gantt charts and periodic status reports.
  • Present project progress reports to key stakeholders.
  • Develop, improve, and implement standardized capital process/tools, reporting for Materials Solutions division.
  • Drive a "Safety First" culture by participating in equipment, process, and behavioral inspections and implementing solutions to risks.
  • Accountability individual and teams commitments in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Create an environment where a sense of urgency and innovation are expected.
  • Lead by example and hold self, peers, and employees accountable to Entegris' values.
  • Solicit values and new ideas while successfully guiding projects from inception to implementation.
  • Be a team builder in a highly matrixed, global organization.

What We Seek:

  • B.S. or higher in Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering is preferred but a related technical field will be considered with applicable experience.
  • 10 + years of small $1MM to large $20MM capital project execution experience in a specialty chemicals or semiconductor or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with minimum 5 years in project lead role in capital project environment required. Experience managing project controls such as cost control, cost estimating, and scheduling is added advantage.
  • Experience with a formal project management methodology required including Front-End loading, detailed design, procurement, construction, and startup, formal PM certification highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in phase gate processes, economics calculations, water fall analysis, and ability to articulate the main objectives, risks and mitigation plans of the capital projects to the leadership.
  • Solid experience and understanding of cost estimation, cost control, planning and scheduling and large project execution and contracting strategies to review projects and mentor project teams.
  • Ability to present projects data at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to produce results when facing deadlines or commitments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft project, SharePoint, Visio etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodology, project delivery process and portfolio/program management. Ability to lead cross-functional teams providing leadership, coaching and mentorship across the organization.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders to accelerate execution.
  • Strategic and systematic thinking with effective communication, change management, and strong influencing ability desired.
  • Highly motivated with ability to build and maintain productive relationships cross-functionally across the organization.
  • Capability of working independently with strong English language skills (written and oral).
