Job Details

ChristianaCare is looking for APC Applicants (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) who have been licensed less than 18 months to join our innovative and customized 9 month APC Fellowship in Primary Care. This is an intensive program for new graduate NPs/PAs which provides mentoring by experienced NPs/PAs, specialty rotations, and additional didactic education in patient care in the primary care setting. This fellowship program is both supportive and challenging as APCs are seeing patients to engage in the clinical experience, while continuing to learn and grow through a structured didactic curriculum. This program is perfect for an APC who is looking to develop into the role of a primary care provider in a structured environment, with a Fellowship Coordinator providing guidance throughout the program. The APC Fellowship is based in a primary care practice with Fellows being given the opportunity to gain deeper exposure to education in specialty areas uniquely selected for each individual based on their experience clinical.

Each selected Fellow will receive an annual salary of $82,000. Fellows are considered full-time employees of ChristianaCare with benefits. The expectation is that Fellows who meet performance objectives and demonstrate ChristianaCare values will apply for permanent employment in a CCHS practice after completing the program at a rate commensurate with 1 year of experience clinical.

This is a program that allows for a supported transition into the role of a Primary Care APC and we hope you consider joining ChristianaCare on this journey!
