Earn $24/hour.

The Behavior Support Professional performs 1 on 1 behavioral observation and assessments, develops strategies based on assessments, writes personalized Behavior Support Plans, and trains and mentors the support team as needed under the clinical supervision of a person with a Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field. Operational supervision is provided by the IDD Director. This Behavior Support Professional is responsible for efficient and appropriate development, facilitation, documentation, and update of Behavior Support Plans, according to the person's Individual Support Plan.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology

OR

  • A Pennsylvania behavior specialist license

OR

  • Bachelor's degree and work under the supervision of a professional who has a master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology, or who is a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor, social worker (master's level or higher), or who has a Pennsylvania behavior specialist license.
