Job Summary :
We are looking for an individual with experience in pre-sale and post-sale support activities for industrial products serving the water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries. The individual in this role will provide quoting and project management support for our mission-critical pump technologies. The best candidate will have excellent customer service skills, quoting and estimating abilities, project management skills, and be capable of establishing strong interdepartmental relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Review RFQ's, specifications and provide application engineering expertise in special applications (i.e. conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit quotations and technical bid documents for configured and engineered-to-order products utilizing a variety of product selection tools, internal ERP system and technical resources
  • Provide technical and commercial support to Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, and end users
  • Provide project management for orders requiring special designs, documentation, testing and inspection from order receipt through customer acceptance.
  • Assist with aftermarket application support and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside suppliers for quoting and project management purposes
  • Represent the company in customer meetings and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations as needed
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, being able to easily pivot, and great at multi-tasking
Key Competencies:
  • 3-5 years of related experience in quoting and/or project management preferred
  • Experience with industrial products in municipal water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries preferred
  • Experience with metering pump technologies, a plus
  • Experience working in ERP systems
