Onboarding Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: Works with Elwyn hiring managers to identify and credential appropriate candidates for employment with Elwyn. Conducts post-offer, pre-employment candidate activities in compliance with program and agency regulations and guidelines. Facilitates completion of employment paperwork.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all applicants who have been identified for hire
  • Ensure accurate completion of all pre-employment screening paperwork.
  • Process Candidate pre-employment paperwork in a timely and efficient manner, i.e. PA Criminal Background Checks, Childline Clearances, Driving Record Requests
  • Register all candidates for FBI fingerprinting and provide candidates with paperwork and information related to the pre-employment physical and drug screens
  • Process all required background checks and complete employment verifications for candidates
  • Escalate all issues (convictions, positive drug results) to Talent Acquisition Manager for follow up
  • Provide frequent updates to hiring managers and Recruiter(s) regarding each candidate's status in the hiring process
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to answer any questions, provide needed support and ensure completion of pre-employment process
  • Complete Hire HRS and submit for entry into Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Register fully-cleared candidates for Elwyn's New Employee Orientation
  • Attend Day One of New Employee Orientation to assist New Employees with completion of First Day Paperwork
  • Process First Day paperwork according to Elwyn policies and procedures
  • Attend job fairs and open houses
  • Disposition candidates in Applicant Tracking System
  • Perform other duties as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience in Recruitment, Human Resources or other administrative support function required; experience with applicant tracking system (ATS) or other tracking database preferred
  • Demonstrated intermediate skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer interaction skills
  • Highly organized with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
