We're seeking a future team member for the role of Front-End Engineer to join our Issuer Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas.
  • This includes hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications.
  • Work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations to improve processes and applications.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software development required with WebLogic Portal and Java 8.17/J2EE technologies
  • Experienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architecture leveraging AWS Cloud Services
  • 3+ years of Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJS and micro-frontend
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger
  • Must have hands on experience in writing RESTful webservices using Spring/JAXRS .
  • Experience developing within agile methodology using CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects
  • Must have Spring Portlet development experience
  • Must have good working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java Script.
  • Must have experience implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework.
  • Must have working experience with SVN/GIT or with other equivalent source control systems.
  • Must have experience with Oracle RDBMS.
  • Experience with WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal is a plus
  • Must have working experience as part of a large team with ability to work independently
  • Experience configuring Web service security policies is a plus.
  • Experience with secure coding practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The following experience would be beneficial:

  • AWS Cloud development experience and AWS Developer Certification highly desired.
  • Experience with WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal.
  • Experience configuring Web service security policies.
  • Good to have exposure to SOA suite middleware.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
  • Exposure to PL/SQL is a big plus.
