Registered Nurse Supervisor - Urgent Care
Abington PA
MUST:
Experienced Nurse
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing with current state license for PA.
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year of clinical experience
One year of medical experience with the administration of medications
Six months of supervisory experience preferred
Must attend scheduled CPR classes and code drills.
Must maintain ACLS and PALS certifications
DUTIES:
Supervising the medical care of all patients from the time they request treatment until their departure; delegating patient care as needed to ensure a smooth transition from registration to discharge.
Supervising clinical employees on their patient contact, patient care, and overall performance; coordinating work tasks as needed.
Ensuring that all nursing licenses are updated.
Functioning as an administrator and working as a Nurse as needed; adhering to all policies and procedures.
Scheduling Nurses and Medical Assistants.
Assisting in interviewing Nurse and Medical Assistant applicants when requested
Preparing performance evaluations of Nurses and Medical Assistants at appropriately scheduled times, or when necessary.
