This is a remote position, candidates must reside anywhere in the USA.

Position Description:

  • The BD Director is responsible for improving in-store and online presence and plan execution by leading brilliant execution across the team of direct reports including Omnichannel Marketing, Category Management, Category Insights, Retail Coverage, Customer Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain.
  • Partner with Brand leads to develop strategic omnichannel plans for key accounts, leading a team of two Omnichannel marketers in the development and execution of Omni tactics including: retailer search & media, promotions and loyalty programs, and in-store visibility.
  • Lead Sales Manager in the development of selling decks for innovation and core growth opportunities - partnering with Brand, Innovation, Insights teams to create best-in-class presentations.
  • Engage with customer teams and retailers as part of joint business planning to develop and unlock strategic partnerships opportunities and establish Bakehouse as category thought-leaders.
  • Own and manage brand activation calendar at key accounts, ensuring the best-in-class execution of retailer programs, tracking of results, and optimizations of plans.
  • Lead price and promo in line with brand strategic positioning; uncover opportunities for pricing improvements to maximize ROI (Return on Investment) and portfolio profitability.
  • Develop and deploy series of tests to understand the best tactics of using commercial dollars - promo, media, or other activation tactics.
  • Monitors current year risk and opportunities for ongoing adjustment to strategies and tactics to achieve plan.
  • Help refine In-year dynamic management of media/trade budget - partnering with Senior Director to ensure the right balance between building mental and physical availability.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline required. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years with CPG company in Brand Management, Omnichannel, Business Development, Shopper Marketing, or Category Management role(s).
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience partnering with retail accounts to build and launch brand activation plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Understanding of P&L management
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical skills, and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Strong listening and communication skills, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast and agile environment.
  • Ability to lead through influence and indirect authority with cross-functional groups.
  • Working knowledge of POS/Syndicated Data
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
